About Ketti

Ketti Kupper is an MFA artist, designer, educator and philosopher whose award winning work has gained national attention in a number of creative fields. Raised in the foothills and canyons of Los Angeles, Ketti studied at Brigham Young University in Utah and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  

She obtained her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her illustrative paintings have appeared in Time, Newsweek, Reader’s Digest and other publications, and have been recognized by MOMA, Yale University, the Aldrich Museum, the Santa Monica Museum and galleries across the country.

Ketti began to design and build gardens in the late 1990's during her tenure as a professor of art at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. In 2004, she won HGTV’s Landscaper’s Challenge. Her landscape work has been featured in Sunset Magazine and other publications, and includes a public art project along the Los Angeles River at the Glendale Narrows Riverwalk Park in California. 

Ketti also brings a wealth of horticultural knowledge to all her projects. This includes years of study in native plant materials as well as mediterranean and climate appropriate plants.
